10TH. GRADE BIOLOGY


My dear 10th. Students:

Due to my traveling overseas, I've arranged my substitution with Mr. Lombardo Galeas who is going to be incharge of you until my comming back on October 10th, if God allows our proposals.

In this matter, here is what its going to be review for your Biology mid term evaluation report, so try to make Mr. Galeas takes note of all your pending assignmets that haven't been graded.

Description of the activities to be evaluated for reporting mid term partial.

- 3 notebook revisions, with everything that has been developed in class and this blog prior assignments.
- 1 Ciber Investigation about Science and Biology contributions since 1992 to 2012, presented in a time line illustration.
- Questionnaire of Tx- Bk, pag 57.
- 10% Quiz
- Carbon Compounds summary and exposition.
1 study guide about Enzymes, to be resolve during class period next week.

and 5% of class behavior related to our Class rules compromise.

Be good to Mr. Galeas and show him all your pending assignments accomplishments, so he may actualize your mid term gradings.

10TH. GRADE BIOLOGY

Dear Students:
In this 5th week of classes, started on Monday, September 12th, and as tradition, is also the week of the celebration of the independence of our country and therefore we all  will enjoy 3 days of holiday. Because of this, I'll summarize the assignments of the 2 days we will be in the classroom to the following:

Class Work.

A lab experiment, described on the Tx-Bk. pag. 54 - 55, will be develop at the lab class, after resolving the 10% quiz for the 30% ccumulative in written evaluation.

Home work:
There will be no home work assigned for this holiday week. Enjoy your free time with family and friends.

09/08/16, Bio-Lab, Investigating the effect of temperature to Enzyme activity, Tx-Bk 54
In groups, sort the materials, among the group-mates, of the following list:
4 onz of raw liver divided in: 2 onz raw, and 2 onz slighty cooked.

09/09/16, 10% quiz to evaluate Ch. 1 and Ch. 2 contents. A Study Guide will be provided by the teacher to prepare the student for it.

Home Work.
Resolve the Ch. 2 assessment, "Understanding Concepts": questions 11 - 25 Tx-Bk. pag. 57
